With the Trotters to stay over night in a hotel, swim, and then tour the Jelly Belly factory. The boys love swimming and were happy to spend a couple hours in the pool on Saturday night. Saturday, January 17, 2009. Thursday school was cancelled due to dangerously cold temperatures. The highest I saw the temp. get without the windchill was -7. Friday was the same thing although by the time I left work it was 0 and I could tell it was warmer! So off he goes to work and here we are with no water. Friday, March 5, 2010. Luke is 3 weeks old today and it is getting easier. He is a very good baby, easy to console for the most part (except for when he has a tummy ache). Aunt Holly came up to visit last week also. I'm so grateful for friends who have delivered meals to us and come by to visit. We are so blessed! Friday, August 29, 2008. Wednesday was the first day of school for both Jake and Jordan. As you can see in the picture though, only Jordan is dressed. Jake on his first official day of school, his first day of kindergarten, had strep throat! So I took him to the Doctor where it was determined he did have strep throat. Poor thing. Sunday, December 21, 2008. A Visit to Santa and the Reindeer Poinsettia. The first Saturday in December Grandma Pat and I take the kids to see Santa. He is at a nursery and it's pretty chilly! You're supposed to let them know if you're coming and they will have gifts for the kids to unwrap. After we stand in line and the kids get their pictures taken, then we go outside to see the real reindeer. It's really neat and the kids love it. Tuesday, December 9, 2008. The kids had their costumes on and couldn't wait to get out there themselves. Jake loved passing out the candy. Friday, October 31, 2008. Saturday the 18th when my Mom was here we went to the Children's Farm in Palos Park. The kids were able to pet ducks, rabbits, a donkey, pony and horses, goats, pigs, cows, sheep and chickens. Then we took a hayride back to the pumpkin patch and picked pumpkins. August 10, 2015. And bc then there 5. Yes you are seeing this correctly. Yes there are 2 in there. We heard both heartbeats. Twin A is at 156 beats per minute and Twin B is at 159 beats per minute. We are in shock. I think we were expecting just one and then bam there’s 2 in there. It’s exciting and nervous all at the same time.
