This week was a bit funky after the Baptism, so it was sort of work with what was leftover. Tues: homemade pork tacos (own taco seasoning). Wed: Chicken pot pie soup. Thurs: Chicken, broccoli, and rice. Sat: baked potato soup. Sun: dinner with our small group. 4-5 red or Yukon golden potatoes;. 1 lb bacon;.

We ended up going to dinner at Old Town Mexican café, which was excellent. Trey was worried about getting Mexican food since it was not going to be tex mex. Since Nana and Papa were moving to San diego right after Christmas we celebrated Christmas with them the weekend after Thanksgiving. We had a great big breakfast and then opened the gifts. We had so much fun with the Thompson family and had a glimpse into what our life will be like in 10 year.raising teens! I'm not in any hurry! We went to two community egg hunts on Saturday and I didn't get any pictures because if I'd taken the time to focus and shoot the hunt would have been over! They are the shortest lived events ever planned! But so much fun for the kids. Sunday we stopped by the Dillard's and Heather took a few quick pics of the fam.

We had pools, water tables and balloons, kids ran in the street without the fear of cars, we ate great food, played washers and connected with our neighbors over a cold drink.or many cold drinks of choice! Oh, and our community fire department came by with a truck for all the kids to see! They are amazing by the way!
