The Lens and Pen. 15 Things on My Gardening “To Done” List. May 13, 2016. A mix of soft and sweet alyssum. Dramatic red geranium and dependable yellow pansies. Then I read Gardening Gone Wild’s post on making a TO DONE. List instead. So I took the suggestion to sit down and record – from the beginning – my accomplishments. As I made my list, my despair dissolved and I became more engaged in the moment. The excitement of a new home, a new garden. My dad planted primrose in a bed alongside the driveway.

http://thelensandpen.com/105

The Lens and Pen. The Blessing of the Fleet: Brunswick, Georgia. May 1, 2016. The blessing of fleets began as a European tradition. Coastal villages and towns held celebrations to encourage a healthy and abundant season of fishing. These festivals began in Southern European countries where Catholicism was the major religion. A priest was always present to perform the blessing after which food and merriment became the order of the day! We do it all so well in Coastal Georgia! Subscribe to my posts.

THE LENS AFFAIR

Wednesday, 7 October 2015. So I thought I would take the opportunity on a "nothing-to-do-Sunday" and mess around with my camera on my new tripod and take a few snaps of myself! Plus I was having a good hair day. You know how it is. Look at me go! I think my eyes might be my favourite feature of my face. Is that okay? Are you allowed to have a favourite feature of yourself? Haha Oh well, I do! I think they look nice on camera and they are always what I focus on when doing my makeup! Monday, 5 October 2015.
