http://jenjentz.blogspot.com/2009/08/desperate-times-call-for-desperate_18.html
Tuesday, August 18, 2009. Desperate times call for desperate measures. For any of you who have a cranky 10 month old, I am about to share a secret with you. When playing on the floor with even her favoritest of favorite toys has grown old, and bouncing in her exersaucer has lost is charm, and she looks at you with frustration instead of ecstatic anticipation as you throw her into the air over and over. Now, don't let its title fool you. Trust me on this. I mean, really. What more could a mom ask? Oh yea ...

Jen's Two In Pink: Practice makes Perfect.
http://jenjentz.blogspot.com/2009/08/practice-makes-perfect.html
Wednesday, August 19, 2009. My Layla is a perfectionist. There is a rumor floating around that "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree", so I can't say I'm surprised. Babble, she will not. Prattle on, no sir. She picks one word. She then must practice and. Once practiced and perfected, she continues onto the next. Word Practicing and perfecting. Since I am, assumably. Her favorite, it was fitting she would elect to speak "mama" first. Great jubilee! It genuinely melted my heart, as I knew how much it w...

Are you trying to decide between cheeseburgers or pasta? How about combining the two! It may sound crazy but believe me when I say that it is tasty! Find full recipe here: Skinny Taste. I made some simple modifications to her recipe:. Used 97% lean ground turkey vs. 95% lean ground beef. Used whole wheat macaroni vs. rotini pasta. FINELY diced onions, so that I could easily hide them from my kids. Overall, this dish was great. I think the pickles are what made the dish! Links to this post. 100 off any tw...

The Frugalicious Mommy: August 2013
http://www.frugaliciousmommy.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Over the weekend I decided to make a healthier dessert. There is no evidence of this delicious treat because my family and I devoured it. Sorry! No Bake Yogurt Pie. 1 (15 oz) box of vanilla sugar-free instant pudding. 2 cups Fage non-fat, plain grek yogurt. 1/2 cup Silk unsweetened almond milk. 1 pie crust (I used a chocolate Keebler Ready crust). But keep in mind that this will vary depending on the ingredients you use. Links to this post. 1/2 cup pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix. Just raw pumpkin). I also ...

The Frugalicious Mommy: May 2013
http://www.frugaliciousmommy.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Let me start off by saying that I LOVE TECHNOLOGY! I try to complete all my errands while my children are at school, but there are times (like summer break) when I have to take ALL 3 kids with me! Whenever I take my kids with me, I often become flustered because they loveeeee to test my patience.don't all kids? Depending on where I'm going, I will allow the children to bring our kindle and iPad. Since I only download educational apps, it's a win-win for both! I keep my sanity while they have fun learning.

MISSION POSSIBLE: September 2010
http://missionpossible1.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 30, 2010. Well, I actually did not spin today. Can you believe it? I decided to go do my own thing on the gym equipment instead. 5 minutes step- mill. 1 lap around the track. 20 minutes on the PreCore cross trainer. 20 ish minutes on the treadmill fast walking on an incline. A whole lap (never mind that 7 laps = a mile. I taught my Cardio Sculpt later. I participated minimally again but they needed my eyes to watch their form today. Really. They did a good job! I took the 6PM spin cla...
