Adventures of a New Hampshire Housewife. Spring Cupcakes: Almond with Raspberry Buttercream. April 12, 2014. With Easter right around the corner, I wanted to make a nice light spring cupcake to bring to my family’s celebrations. These are easy to make, and such a lovely pink color! I also have to confess, I’m on an almond kick lately. Apologies in advance to anyone with a nut allergy, but you could of course omit the almond aspect of this recipe and just make the raspberry buttercream. 1 T Almond Extract.

Addiction: Buffalo Chicken Dip | Domestic Quest

Adventures of a New Hampshire Housewife. Addiction: Buffalo Chicken Dip. January 20, 2013. Step 1: Mix hot sauce and chicken. Step 2: Add cheesy ingredients and ranch and heat till combined. Step 3: Try not to eat it all before you’ve brought it to the party. This is the hardest step. Keep the dip warm in a crock pot to serve. DO: Use Franks Red Hot sauce. I’ve tried store brand hot sauce to save money, and it’s not worth it. Nothing compares to Franks Red Hot. Getting Crafty with Scrapbook Paper →.

Adventures of a New Hampshire Housewife. December 28, 2013. I’m about to start woodworking! Luckily, I have a husband who is completely supportive of this adventure and has some experience in the area. When I approached him with the plans for a beautiful farmhouse style dining room table, he was on board. He bought some tools, made himself a workbench and now the fun part begins! Here is what we’re hoping for:. TBD if we use the plans from Ana White’s blog. A Very Gourmet Christmas. Follow me on Twitter.

Confessions | Domestic Quest

Adventures of a New Hampshire Housewife. May 20, 2014. 1 I don’t rinse my quinoa before I cook it. I mean, how does anyone really rinse quinoa without losing it all down the drain? The only thing I can think of is to use cheesecloth, but its expensive and I haven’t had a problem yet with any grittiness or bad flavor. Maybe I’m just a rebel. Maybe a cook more adventurous than I will make a lovely apple galette or crisp out of them. 6 I hate mayo. It is not allowed in my house, ever. First Time Home Buyer.
