Sunday, 28 October 2007. Is it okay to have pancakes on any other day than Shrove Tuesday? This was the question that had to be addressed when I and four other lovely ladies met for lunch on a Friday. On my suggestion we went to My Old Dutch. In High Holborn, which elicited cries of “Pancakes! 8221; from some and “Pancakes? But it’s the wrong day! 8221; from others. Yesterday was my buffday, so I did what all good badgers do and took a day off work to go on safari. I got to Whipsnade nice and early and looked at the lemurs for a bit. I then sat down for a little rest and what do you know, but Super Monkey. Flew in and landed on my back! Devious also came along to play. I saw lots of animals, but my favourites were the penguins.
