Postings From the Despain Family. Tuesday, August 25. What we've been up to. Well here are some pics from Ivan's first day of Kindergarten in Mrs. Farish's class. His daddy has been taking him and picking him up everyday, waiting in those long, long lines. I think it takes him 20 minutes to get to the door from the highway, which is only about 2 blocks away. Postings From the Despain Family. Sunday, May 31. She'll kill me for this pic one day. This is the only kid I know that can fall asleep mid-chew. I guess she had a big day and an early nap, so at 7:30 while she was trying to eat dinner the poor girl couldn't keep her eyes open. I took this picture and I laughed for 5 minutes. Monday, August 17, 2009. Ready, Set, Gavin's Off To Kindergarten! In some ways the past 5 years seem just like that, 5 years. In other ways I'm wondering where the time has gone? Gavin started kindergarten this morning with a grin from ear to ear! We have been blessed to be able to keep him at the Christian school he's been going to preschool at for the past 2 years. Monday, August 10, 2009. Each year there is a fundraiser here in NWA where the kids get to go and climb through trucks, police cars, tractors, etc. They also have a project area. Postings From the Despain Family. Thursday, October 8. So glad to have a crafty sister in law who gave me the idea for making these shoes! Haven't showed them to Aubree yet because they are a little big and I know once she sees them she'll never want to take them off! She is a shoe girl. Postings From the Despain Family. Tuesday, June 23. Well my baby girl turned two last week and I can't believe it. She has really started to look like a big girl this month. We had a small picnic party at Craighead Forest this Saturday and it was HOT. I was thinking 11:00 am in June wouldn't be that hot, think again, whew.
