Intimations of Grace: May 2015
http://intimationsofgrace.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Musings of a Catholic young woman seeking to find God's presence and follow His will in the day-to-day. Monday, May 25, 2015. We want to have it all. We think we should. We want it all. But you know as well as I - that as soon as we might arrive at one of those things on the list, we are craving the next thing. In the meantime, while we try to be happy and grateful with the gifts we have been given, we continue to long for the perfect. Anything short of this? But there are things we are. No matter what c...

Musings of a Catholic young woman seeking to find God's presence and follow His will in the day-to-day. Monday, September 29, 2014. On the Feast of St. Raphael. The truth is, I think one of the great gifts of healthy relationships, even those that are just temporary (such as some dating relationships), have the opportunity to bring not only joy and love into our lives, but profound healing as well. Intimations of Grace: November 2011
http://intimationsofgrace.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Musings of a Catholic young woman seeking to find God's presence and follow His will in the day-to-day. Tuesday, November 8, 2011. Not mine to hold. When God grants us a prayer, gives us that gift for which we have been so long begging Him - isn't it within our nature to hold that gift as tightly as possible? To cherish it closely, never let it out of our sight, and, even though subtly, hold our arms around it protectively, so that it cannot be taken away from us? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Contemplative in the City: Surrender is hard work
http://acontemplativeinthecity.blogspot.com/2010/11/surrender-is-hard-work.html
Contemplative in the City. Thursday, November 4, 2010. Surrender is hard work. We've all heard countless times that the key to our peace in any situation, large or small is that we surrender our will to God's will. We have to trust in His providence, and abandon ourselves to His providence and He will take care of the rest. Unfortunately though, this is not usually the case. Surrender does not mean that we will immediately be freed from the grunt work and our problems will be miraculously solved.

Contemplative in the City. Monday, June 28, 2010. ALA Conference.the summit for Librarians. Over the past three days I attended my first American Library Association (ALA) Conference. As they try to find the correct meeting room, and once in the session display a common sense of curiosity. I attended the conference on Friday, Saturday, and Sun...

I substituted a packet of stevia instead of agave to create a sugar-free version. Pear and Cinnamon Quinoa. Adapted from Pikelet and Pie. Check out the link for beautiful pics. Serves 2 or 3.
