Summer has a few sights and smells that to me make it summer! The smell of wild roses blooming. The fresh tang of the ocean on a hot summer day. The feel of a sandy beach under the toes. Dan and I both were sick for most of our two weeks off at Christmas. And I have barely used my camera since August. hence no new posts. Sunday, June 7, 2009. For the May long weekend we went to the mainland to visit our good friends, Sarah and Steve. While we were there we all went to the Vancouver Children's Festival. There were entertainers, activity tents, food, and music. It was a great time. Hunter on the ferry. Hunter loved this giant sand box. Sarah's three kids also loved the sandbox.
