Tuesday, August 5, 2008. Hi Everyone. Yes, I know it is a shock that I am actually updating this. Things are going good with us. We have been busy with fun summer activities and trying to finish up little jobs all over our house. Brecken keeps us the busiest, especially now that he is crawling all over the place! 160;I guess it is time to put everything away that we don't want broken or chewed on.do chairs really taste that good? 160;Phil also thinks that Brecken has his mother's temper, please.

Thursday, September 18, 2008. Yeah, it's fall! 160;Fall is my favorite season, I love 70 degree days with cooler nights. Nothing too exciting happening at the Marten house. We are coming to the end of our outdoor projects so we are happy that we could get most of that done this year. Now on to the basement! Brecken is getting so big! Phil and Neil "cleaning" fish. Thursday, August 21, 2008. My dad was asked to give a speech at the Truman, MN Memorial Day Service. He and 6 of his classmates/friends were drafted all at the same time. One of them happened to be his best friend, Ronnie Karau. My dad and the others made it home, but Ronnie did not.
