Monday, November 15, 2010. Better Late Than Never. I realize that it is almost Thanksgiving, but I wanted to share my pumpkins from Halloween. Staying true to my Hoover roots, I had to do one with the Jolly Roger face. That joker was hard! I mean, H-A-R-D! My hands hurt for 2 days after I carved that guy. We also carved one with a funny smile and one with a ghost. Overall, they turned out cute (I thought). I was proud of my pumpkins. Those little ghosts and goblins are smart! Thoughts of a mom living a blessed, yet chaotic life. Monday, January 10, 2011. The year 2011 is starting off with a bang! I am guessing we got about 6-7 inches of snow. It was so beautiful! This was the first snow we've received that Jack hasn't been too sick to really get in it. We bundled up and went outside and BRRRR it was cold! The wind was almost unbearable. I must say this surpassed the snow in the order of exciting events for the day. Wow! Too bad I don't have some of those homemade marshmallows.

Sunday, July 11, 2010. Copenhagen, Berlin, Hamberg in a nutshell! We took a 5 day trip to Copenhagen, Berlin, and Hamburg with two of Tony's best friends. Tuesday, September 21, 2010. Prague, Czech Republic aka Praha! Old Town Square near our hotel.it was great with no cars allowed anywhere! Our American travel buddies! Nice hike up to the Prague Castle. The church right in the center of the Prague Castle.very beautiful! Tony and Adam hanging with a guard at the Castle. The guys thinking they are funny.I wouldn't let Tony buy this hat for good reason! St Charles Bridge.usually very crowded with people selling all sorts of paintings. Night on the town!

Thursday, November 3, 2011. Jordan and Egypt Trip! This was by far the most memorable and definitely most cultural trip we have ever been on. Once again we traveled with our favorite Kentucky friends. We started by flying into Amman, Jordan for ;one night. We got in late so we did not have much time to see the city. We did stay in an amazing hotel though :) We then took a flight from Amman to Petra, Jordan. King Highway- drive from Amman to Petra. Sunset from hotel in Petra, Jordan. Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Full Moon Downtown.and I'm Not Talking BBQ! These last few days have been absolutely beautiful! After many months of rain and cold, I gladly welcomed sunny and 80 degrees. Even with the dreaded pollen, I've enjoyed the nice weather.well, almost all of it. Apparently, pollen is not the only added bonus that came with the change in weather. Wind gusts have also shown themselves over the past couple of days.this is what cause the full moon. And, I do mean M-O-O-N-I-N-G! Running....

Monday, March 15, 2010. By now, most everyone knows how much I hate the kitchen in our house. It was either designed by a man, or by someone who has never cooked a day in their life. It's small, it's ugly, it has a white sink, and most of all, it has NO counter space. Well, it's still small, and it still doesn't have much counter space. But WOW, is it beautiful! I finally got my new granite countertops. And tumbled marble backsplash. It looks like a whole new kitchen! Old, ugly, grey countertops.
