http://melbomom.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Musings of Marilyn Broadbent Oveson, aka Mel. Monday, May 19, 2008. So, Friday night we went to the Amway Arena in downtown Orlando to see The Police. In concert. Can I just say OH MY GOODNESS, THEY WERE AWESOME! What I really couldn't get over was the incredible musicianship of this group. I really thought they used keyboard or synthesizer for some of their songs and they don't! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Married to Randy, awesome husband! View my complete profile.

Overthinking Everything: Cape Perpetua
http://overthinkingeverything.blogspot.com/2015/05/cape-perpetua.html
May 11, 2015. Some people need to drink. Some people need to eat chocolate. Some people need to clean the house? Some people need to gamble. Some people need to buy new shoes. I need to get in the car and go places. Just to let you know how bad it is let me tell you about yesterday and then you can shake your head, judge me, and figure out how to plan an intervention for me. We chose Cape Perpetua because of the descriptions and reviews of the tide pools and a hike. We have been trying all different ...

http://melbomom.blogspot.com/2008/09/adventure-continues-lake-powell.html
Musings of Marilyn Broadbent Oveson, aka Mel. Friday, September 19, 2008. The Adventure continues - Lake Powell. We enjoyed seeing Jane and John and their family who camped just around a bend from us. We loved the slide on the back of their boat! Wow was that fun. One of the funniest moments was little Olivia, not quite 2 going down the slide off the top of the houseboat with her Daddy, Rob. We all cheered wildly for her and she went more than once, she was hilarious! Oh yeah, and we squeezed in one more...

Jun 29, 2014. Getting Rid of Things. This is hard my friends. I have to look at every single thing in my house and wonder is this going to the;. Or the Goodwill pile? Or the, "some good friend will want this" pile? Or the, "this means so much to me that it is worth moving clear across the United States of America" pile? Oh wait, I almost forgot the Craigslist pile. The Go-Go's were there too. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang soundtrack anyone? The first day I started this enormous, overwhelming, going to kill me,...

Overthinking Everything: The Y On The Mountain.
http://overthinkingeverything.blogspot.com/2015/04/the-y-on-mountain.html
Apr 12, 2015. The Y On The Mountain. The first thing you do is you drive up to the trail head which is about five minutes from Madeline's Provo apartment. If you can't remember which road gets you to the trail head just drive around for a few minutes and then it will become clear.not that we did that :). The hike starts on a hill and never ever gives you anything but a hill. Straight up for a mile. See that picture over there? See all the zig zagging that is happening? Sometimes we have to open our backp...

Sep 24, 2014. Full Brain and Chevy Chase Beach Cottages. So my brain hurts. Has your brain ever hurt? That imagination really never does me any favors. Instead of living in that relaxing world I have been actively, cheerfully, and consciously making choices that have led me as far away from that world as a girl could get. These choices have been things like. Ahemdo not answer that :). Well you could drive up the Olympic Peninsula but why would you do that if you could take a ferry? Sep 16, 2014. I have to...
