Sunday, February 15, 2009. Don't you wish you were there? Well, this past week, I was. Sherry and I got out of town and hit the beach of South Padre Island for a few days! It was so nice to get away from the "real world" and have a break for a bit. The water was pretty, sand was soft, and the breeze just right. Well, there was pretty heavy wind for a day or two before the sun came out, and then we both got burned, but who wants to hear about that? So, I figure that's a good sign. :). Other Blogs I love.

Saturday, November 22, 2008. Why I am wild" according to Ella. I was putting Ella in her car seat and I told her how much I love her and how l LOVE to do things with her but she was a bit wild tonight at the store and I did not know if I would take her next time. Monday, June 30, 2008. Laiken left for sleep-away camp yesterday. This is the third summer that she has gone away to camp for a week and she was so excited! The last two summers, she went to Camp Huawni. Which is located down near Nacogdoches. This year, she was old enough to go to Camp Deer Run. In front of their cabin:. Checking out the horses:. Friday, November 7, 2008. We played hooky on the day of 9-week conferences at school and instead took the kids to Great Wolf. Laiken and Carson both took friends this time and we took Nolan for the first time. So MUCH fun! The place was practically empty. I only had one moment of feeling like I was a bad parent for not going to the conferences, but it passed pretty quickly. Your pics make this look like so much fun! We have to try and go sometime!
