Finding the joy in the little things and trying not to swear too much! Two weeks later…. March 2, 2013. I am really happy with my decision to stop blogging. I have made so many wonderful connections in the virtual world since starting my blogging journey over a year ago, but some balance was much needed and I know I’ve made a very good move. This final post is just to let y’all know that you can still find The Mindful Mum on Facebook. And I would love to see you over there! Isle of Skye, 2009. February 9...

Finding the joy in the little things and trying not to swear too much! I’ve finally got around to compiling a short “want-to-read” list of fiction set in Southeast Asia, India and China at the time of the British Empire, per my post on this topic. A short while ago. Heat and Dust, by Ruth Prawer Jhabvala. The Glass Palace, by Amitav Ghosh. East of the Sun, by Julia Gregson. The Jewel in the Crown, by Paul Scott (The Raj Quartet Book I). The Day of the Scorpion, by Paul Scott (The Raj Quartet Book II).

Little YoYo Styles - Every Cute Style You Will Love!: Another child?

http://littleyoyostyles.blogspot.com/2012/02/another-child.html

We didn't fall pregnant with Miss P quickly. It took us 18 months and a laparoscopy operation and 3 months after that, it resulted in the desired lines in the pregnancy test. What joy! Did we want another child? And perhaps I should say here that it's the reason I've not been blogging as regularly as I like. Pregnancy nausea and tiredness ...

Serenely Made: About

http://serenelymade.blogspot.com/p/about.html

Yes it started with a purchase of a sewing machine and a unexplainable desire to personally hand make an assortment of stuff for my little one. But as many people have been asking me “how did you learn to sew? 8221; I decided it would be fitting to update this space with a bit more background on me. I remember sitting next to him observing how he threaded the sewing machine, watching the rapid movement of the needle darting in and out of the fabric and helping to hand him various items from the sewing bo...

The day to day of being newly diagnosed as Bipolar. Hello again old friend…. BBC – Preventing bipolar relapse with web therapy. May 23, 2013. Very interesting piece that describes how I feel during a hypomanic episode. Just goes to show we are not alone in our symptoms and how important it is to connect with fellow Bipolar Disorder sufferers. There is also a study mentioned about parents who suffer from Bipolar Disorder. I’m going to look that up now! I found this BBC News piece. Enter your comment here.

Thursday, 29 March 2012. Five minutes to grateful. no long waits in between. Love and gratitude: I want to hold you this close forever. I watched a youtube clip last night. All the while I kissed her softly a hundred times. And then a hundred more. I watched this clip and I cried. It showed U.S. soldier...I watched...
