Friday, July 10, 2015. It helps when someone picks out the birthday card they want you to get them. While in Davidson last weekend we stopped in a bookstore because, well, have you met C? Monkey knows her birthday's coming up. So she went right up to the greeting cards, pulled one out, and marched over to me. Monkey: Here, Mommy, you can get this card for me for my birthday. I was born in 1985. In 1986 I turned 1. In 1987 I turned 2. And so on. Then dated, then got engaged, then got married. As of 2013 we are homeowners, garden owners, and kid owners - Monkey joined us in July 2013 and GMac made his grand entrance on New Years Day 2015. Right out of a movie I tell ya. Monday, August 3, 2015. I'm almost done with my twenties. Marked the last day of my last entire month of being twenty. After the kiddos were down for the night we finished off a bottle of wine while watching An Idiot Abroad. We classy. Thursday, August 6, 2015. So this is what it's like to be an adult. Apparently, when you turn 30, your birthday requests change. C asked me the other day what I'd like for my birthday and before I could even respond told me he already knew what he was getting me. I still obliged and listed the following, which, now that I think about them, seem to revolve around cleaning:. But would like a new pair. I can't even find a picture of them online. So here's a picture of them on my feet. A good power wash.

Wednesday, July 8, 2015. A picture is worth. I had a meeting last night so I worked late in order for us to leave earlier for Fort Wayne on Friday. Despite having a blah day at work, C brought me dinner on his way home from picking up the kids. We thought they'd be fine if I ran down to the car to get my dinner. Monkey wasn't fine.
