Goess Studio Art Glass: December 2008
http://goess-studio.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2008. Noah's Ark Installation Started. Yesterday saw the beginning of the installation of the Noah's Ark Mural. Everything went very smoothly and it is looking amazing. Some of the animals glowed with the sun coming through the glass. The adhesive worked well and is still visiable until it is fully cured. Two of our regular long time students came to help out. We had a great time and enjoyed answering all the questions that visitors asked. Links to this post. Show off that tail!

Goess Studio Art Glass: July 2009
http://goess-studio.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2009. The Good and Bad of Posting Content on Your Website. Well I had the age old problem of discovering that once again, another studio had "borrowed" content from one of my sites and was using it to promote a class of theirs. This has happened many times before and I have taken harsh steps with some of those in the past. I didn't want to do that this time for many reasons. To give some back ground to the latest event, a student of mine was googling vitrigraph. They are hoping to promo...

Goess Studio Art Glass: November 2008
http://goess-studio.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 28, 2008. Last Tuesday we went to the Synagogue and had the children from the Hebrew school help create the butterflies for the Noah's Ark mural. Over 100 children showed up and working in pairs they glued brightly colored glass triangles onto the wings of the butterflies. Only 18 butterflies will be in the mural so the remainder will be given to the school to be displayed in the class rooms. Links to this post. Friday, November 21, 2008. Meet Our Studio Manager. A Guide To Bringing the French Lifestyle To Your Life. Thursday, August 8, 2013. Right of way, or lackthereof. An other thing is, when you want to turn left at an intersection, and there's somebody in the opposite lane that wants to do the same thing, you should position yourself behind that car, unlike what is commonly done in the USA where you go right in front of the car. Everything French: Pâté de Pâques (Traditional French Easter Dinner)
http://everything-french.blogspot.com/2009/03/pate-de-paques-traditional-easter.html
A Guide To Bringing the French Lifestyle To Your Life. Friday, March 27, 2009. Pâté de Pâques (Traditional French Easter Dinner). This traditional Berry region dish is a great first course to your Easter Dinner. It is sausage and egg (with optional vegetables) wrapped in puff pastry (referred to as en croûte. It is served hot or cold as an appetizer and later the leftovers are great with soup and/or salad. Jacques, my father-in-law recommends a red wine from the Loire Valley or a Burgundy. Reduce the ove...

Everything French: Château de Maintenon

A Guide To Bringing the French Lifestyle To Your Life. Monday, October 1, 2012. This is a beautiful chateau to visit if you are in the Paris or Normandy regions and do not have time to go to the Loire Valley and visit the "fairy tale" castles there. What also makes Chateau de Maintenon special is that it is famous for housing Louis XIV's "secret wife" Francoise d'Aubigne the future Marquise de Maintenon. For more info, please visit the Château de Maintenon website. Labels: Travel Info/Infos Voyage. The P...

A Guide To Bringing the French Lifestyle To Your Life. Saturday, January 1, 2011. Krema Regliss' Mint Candy. It's the chewy sweet candy that's fresh like mint and soft like licorice (that's what it says on the bag). The best part is that the flavors and colorings are all natural. This chewy candy has been around for ages, which can mean only one thing: it's good. Labels: Candy Cookies/Bonbons Gateaux. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Out and About/Dans La Ville.
