Narrow Escape: My Paddling Adventures. This blog contains my adventures for time spent out on the water. I paddle a yellow Seaward 16'2" Cosma TX. This boat is 51 lbs, has a beam of 23" and a depth of 13.78". I live in Victoria, BC on the south coast of Vancouver Island and these are my adventures. Monday, March 23, 2009. Now being a "veteran" paddler of one year, I take great delight in watching the tourists narrowly avoid floatplanes, ferries, pickleboats, and other harbour traffic.
