Monday, August 25, 2008. This month, there were some great Lollo Rosso plums from Spain at our local greengrocers. I decided to go back and see if they had more, so I could make jam! The jam turned out pretty good, though I think the British Certo recipe could have a bit more plum and a bit less sugar- probably next time I'll just create my own recipe. Recently I purchased some yellow gingham jam pot covers at a thrift store in Brixham- I think they are a bit big for my jars but still look pretty good.
