Delinquents With Combs | Existence Is Elsewhere
https://existenceiselsewhere.wordpress.com/2011/04/22/delinquents-with-combs
April 22, 2011 1 Comment. This was a present from my last birthday that I kept the blister card from because I thought it was so well executed for a novelty toy. It’s been designed to look like a ’50s book jacket, from the ‘Complete and Unabridged’ subtitle to the strapline asserting that this is ‘A shocking exposé of youth gone wild! Here’s the comb itself:. As far as combs go, it’s my favourite. On a side note, I intended on reading. April 23, 2011 at 8:35 am. Lend me your comb. My hair is a mess#.

50 ’50s #31. The Go-Between by L.P. Hartley. March 28, 2011 1 Comment. Leo Colston is an elderly man in the early 1950s, who finds a diary he kept at the turn of the century. That summer he had been invited by a school friend, Marcus, to stay with him, and memories which he had wiped from his consciousness resurface as he reads the diary. The book was published in Britain in 1953 by Hamish Hamilton, but the 1999 edition pictured above which was kindly leant to me by a friend. March 25, 2011 1 Comment.
