Just another WordPress.com site. I often enjoy walking after dark and being able to get a fleeting glimpse into the homes on the way. This glimpse reveals a moment in the life of a stranger and tonight an elderly woman unknowingly shared a quiet slice of her evening with me and sparked thoughts for this post. Will they ever be alone with their thoughts for long stretches of uninterrupted time? Will they be inspired by a great idea only to have it lost after being interrupted by a text? Only time will tell.

Tuesday, October 14, 2014. Back to basics.homemade laundry detergent. I have contemplated making my own laundry detergent for quite a while. I would pin different recipes on Pinterest, and I just couldn't make up my mind which one to try. There are liquid and dry detergents. A lot of the liquid ones make a lot of detergent, and I really wasn't sure I wanted to try to store all that somewhere. It also has to be heated in a pan and man it just seemed like a lot of work! I just know how much time I have!

Monday, February 09, 2015. The blog has gotten forgotten again! This is what happens! So just a little diddy on what happened around here this Fall! Big thing.Nolan broke his arm. Boo! Nolan fell pretty far off some playground equipment. He landed right on this arm. Here he was at the ER getting it checked. A couple of x-rays later and we have a splint and a sling to wear. Mammy and Papa brought him a "Inja Turtle" (as Nolan says it) balloon. We clipped it on his splint here! He even was able to do his c...

Friday, April 25, 2014. Spring is definitely here! Softball has started, the grass is greening up, windows have been open, guys are getting antsy to plant and kids are outside as much as possible. Saturday, February 09, 2013. Friday Photo Dump (catch up style! There have been so many things going on since right before Christmas until now so a little catch up is necessary! The girls brought Nolan a snowball inside while he watched them play. Of course he used it as a teether, but that works as well! The girls decided to play that they were packing to go on a trip somewhere. Interesting outfit Addie has out together!
