The Tomato Times: February 2010
http://the-tomato-times.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Planted a few more seeds. Posted by Jo, Jema, and Craig. This is Craig: I planted a few more seeds to keep on experimenting. Planted "legend" and "Oregon spring" tomatoes and more lettuce and cabbage. I saw for the first time that some of the spinach is coming up outside with no protection. Three of the four artichokes are coming up now too. I am trying to plan the garden so that I can buy the seeds soon. Trying to decide if I want snow peas because they could go in now. So many decisions! I also finishe...

http://the-tomato-times.blogspot.com/2010/02/planted-some-strawberries.html
Posted by Jo, Jema, and Craig. This is Craig: We got some strawberry starts from a friend at church. They sat for a week or so until I tilled a stretch of land (2/21) for them. They are thought to be "tristar". I will try to get one of the girls to help me keep the flowers pinched through May to help them get established. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Posted by Jo, Jema, and Craig. This is Jema;. Recently, Dad, Jo, and I transplanted almost a full tray of tomato plants in cells into 3.5in. pots and yesterday Dad planted another almost full tray of cells into 3.5in. pots. There were 9 varieties and there are 137 in total that were planted at the same time. It's a lot of fun to transplant! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Jo, Jema, and Craig. The Tomato Times: Death and Destruction
http://the-tomato-times.blogspot.com/2010/02/death-and-destruction.html
Posted by Jo, Jema, and Craig. The cabbage and lettuce are fine. :). I decided to move the seedlings inside our sunroom so that I wouldn't have to worry about the temperature. I do need to water more often though due to less humidity inside (I think). I bought some shop lights to help them out too. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Jo, Jema, and Craig.
