Friday, July 29, 2005. I just saw the funniest thing over at Ultraquiet No More. Check out this Easter egg I found. If you go to the webpage for the U.S. Navy's MCPON. I tried to mow my lawn two days ago before I flew out here. Unfortunately my lawnmower wouldn't stay running. I'd prime it and it would run for about four or five seconds then die. Monday, January 09, 2006. Well it's a new year (has been for nine days now) and this is my first post of 2006. I'm on my way to Dutch Harbor, AK today. I haven't been there since July but I'm looking forward to going. It'll be good to get out of the office. I've been here behind a desk for the better part of two months with the last three weeks playing supervisor. But now the boss is back and I can go back to being a regular field tech again. More about the war in the Aleutians here. Who ya gonna call?

Wednesday, November 30, 2005. I haven’t been lazy, honest. I’ve just been getting around. After my last post I’ve been to Cold Bay twice, St George Island twice and Kodiak once. Lack of Pirates causes Global Warming. I was bumming around the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster website, when I noticed a little graph depicting the relation between decreasing numbers of (non-IP) Pirates and increasing Global Temperature. This is an important piece of data that has been over looked in the Global Warming debate. I think an immediate government program to increase the number of pirates must be put into place!
