There's a lot of lay empowerment and focus on the midtown commnity we live in. I have a lot of anxiety about what to do after this year. I'm looking to move back to Chicago, but have no idea what to do in terms of work, schools, community, etc. (besides miss Bily! So if anyone has a life for me in Chicago please let me know! So I've been posting a lot; maybe I need to get a life, but whatever! Even though I live the biggest city in the country, I am constantly amazed by how small things are in Catholicland, especially in relation to SMU! Numerous Dominican Sisters have told me that they have some relationship to SMU; two nuns I met out here even attended it back when it was St. Teresa's.

A Forum for Alumni of the Saint Mary's University of Minnesota Theology Department. Monday, November 12, 2007. Ok heres a funny story and then my cry for help! Anyway, we are looking for suggestions of Hispanic/ Spanish speaking Christian bands. A lot of the youth are bi-lingual and we are trying to incorporate Spanish as much as we can, starting with music during gym and arrival times. So if you know of any, please let me know! Also, is anyone familiar with the Youth Ministry Access program?
