https://thedursopack.wordpress.com/2015/06/06/cows-on-the-concourse
Life as we know it. Cows on the Concourse. June 6, 2015. We haven’t been to Cows on the Concourse for a couple years, so I’m really glad we could go today! Cows on the Concourse is an event for June dairy month where cows are brought downtown and you can get up close and personal! What a great Saturday! I am a running working mama. We work hard and play hard and I have a lot to share along the way. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:.

February | 2015 | Life as we know it
https://thedursopack.wordpress.com/2015/02
Life as we know it. Monthly Archives: February 2015. February 25, 2015. Until the last month or so, running this winter actually hasn’t been too bad. It was nice enough that I was able to run outside on the weekend afternoons because the temps were between 30 and 40 degrees. February has been a different story though! What has been more difficult for running this winter has been my health! February 21, 2015. Today was Peyton’s birthday celebration and it was so much fun! February 20, 2015. 8230; and now.

Life as we know it. Monthly Archives: December 2014. December 31, 2014. Well… its a rough end to the year. We’ve had someone sick in the house pretty much since Thanksgiving. Right now Doug has the flu and I think Allie does too. I’ll be taking her to the walk in clinic tomorrow. Happy new year to us. But the year 2014 was a good one. After all…. Our youngest baby turned 1 in February. We had a nice family vacation to Minneapolis in May. We took an amazing vacation to Florida in July. Top Posts and Pages.

Trying my hand at gardening | Life as we know it
https://thedursopack.wordpress.com/2015/06/06/trying-my-hand-at-gardening
Life as we know it. Trying my hand at gardening. June 6, 2015. I finally got my garden planted this week! It took about a week and a half to get from weeds to planted, and I am so excited to see how it goes! Here is the before picture, when weeds still dominated. I got two tomato plants, one cucumber, one cilantro and one basil. Bottom right plant is Allie’s sunflower that she planted at the school scavenger hunt a couple weeks ago. I put those in the garden too! This is after the weeding. The seed packe...

The next generation | Life as we know it
https://thedursopack.wordpress.com/2015/06/07/the-next-generation
Life as we know it. June 7, 2015. Today the kids and I drove down to Roscoe to visit with my friend Sarah, who is in from New York with her kids, Abbi and Ethan; and Roxanne and her son Ryder. Peyton, Ryder and Ethan were all born within a couple months of each other. Abbi is about a year younger than Allie. So it was fun having all the kids together to play! It was nice to reconnect with Roxanne and Sarah. I am being reminded so much lately of the value of good friends! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Follo...

Life as we know it. May 25, 2015. A rainy day, a zoo day and the garden. Sunday’s zoo day got canceled because instead it rained allll day. An all-day soaker rain is even worse than a snow day, I think! This picture was at the beginning of the play doh time. I swept the floor three times during the play time. Colors got mixed and the session ended with a lot less dough than we started with. But the rainy day wasn’t spent entirely in front of the TV, so that’s a success! We were able to park surprisingly ...

Life as we know it. Monthly Archives: April 2015. April 29, 2015. Two posts in one week? Yes, it happened! We had kind of a rough weekend. Saturday was filled with chores. We weren’t going to go anywhere, but when Peyton decided not to take a nap, we made a spur-of-the-moment trip to Olbrich Botanical Gardens. We were there in February and even without leaves, it was pretty (never got around to posting those pictures… its still on the list of posts to post! April 26, 2015. Allie’s favorite memories.

September | 2014 | Life as we know it
https://thedursopack.wordpress.com/2014/09
Life as we know it. Monthly Archives: September 2014. September 23, 2014. Last weekend we got outside on both Saturday and Sunday to enjoy the beautiful fall weather. I love when it starts to cool off in the fall but the temperatures still warm up enough to get outside and enjoy it. I love how the afternoon light is different in the fall. The only thing I don’t. Love is the in between temperatures for morning runs… I’m cold in short sleeves and too warm in long sleeves! Sunday we headed out early to the ...

November | 2014 | Life as we know it
https://thedursopack.wordpress.com/2014/11
Life as we know it. Monthly Archives: November 2014. November 30, 2014. Thanksgiving v. 2014. We had quite the holiday weekend here. It started with the Durso family feast on Thursday. The meal started with the pumpkin pie, after we watched the parade, of course. Mama had some help with the pie crust. Peyton got in on the action too, but he really wasn’t too impressed with the tree, at least not while it was being put together. The kids had fun playing together. After dinner, we got out some of the Chris...

Not one, but TWO Irish Wolfhounds awaited her arrival at daycare and scared the $&%@ out of her. I don't blame her one bit.
