Bates Family: November 2010
http://atozbates.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 6, 2010. To start off we painted everything in a creamy Eggshell color. After that we taped off the accent wall and painted it with the green. I call this Hello Green! Because when I walked in the room after painting that color, that's what I said. Once the green was dry I taped the stripes. After taping the stripes I did another light coat of green to help prevent the orange from bleeding through the tape. This would help give us a more sharp line with the stripes. They even had the r...

Steve & Charlene: March 2008
http://sandctodd.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 15, 2008. Flashback Friday - Life long friends. The other day a co-worker of mine asked me if I still keep in touch with any of my friends in high school. For me that answer is absolutely! Not very many of them, but I do have some that I do. I have two good friends who have been around for 15 years or more. These two friends are a very small sample of people who have truly made a HUGE impact on my life and I could go on and on. Wednesday, March 5, 2008. Change is good.right? When people c...

Steve & Charlene: May 2009
http://sandctodd.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 1, 2009. After that, I had no hope. All he had to do was say the words and I was his. To this day, whenever I watch him with kids I am amazed and I feel the same way. He's not worried about whatever is going on in life. He is involved in the moment and he is a kid himself. It makes my heart melt every time. We definitely have our moments, times that we just go with the flow. But I am grateful for those moments of clarity. The expressions of pure and simple love. I love you Steve!

Steve & Charlene: Flashback Friday - Fun pics
http://sandctodd.blogspot.com/2009/02/flashback-friday-fun-pics.html
Friday, February 13, 2009. Flashback Friday - Fun pics. We have someone at work who is retiring this month and part of my job is "party-planner". I have a bunch of pictures from past events and so I was assigned to look through my pictures to find some of her for a scrapbook. During the course of my search I found some of family members who have come to different fun events we have had at work. Family Fun Night 2007. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I love seeing Steve hold babies!

Steve & Charlene: I have been lost...
http://sandctodd.blogspot.com/2008/11/i-have-been-lost.html
Friday, November 21, 2008. I have been lost. My nephew Zack says so. I'll share that story in a moment, but first. I'm doing well. I know you wouldn't have a clue about that since I have not posted since my surgery. I apologize. I have no excuse. I just didn't feel like it. Also, I really didn't have much to share except having my gallbladder removed has almost been like magic! Basically, I feel very special and loved! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Bates Family: Halloween 2010
http://atozbates.blogspot.com/2010/11/halloween-2010.html
Saturday, November 6, 2010. We had a super fun Halloween weekend! Saturday morning we got up and decided to take the kids to Gardner Village to see the witches. We were early enough that we beat the crowds that swarm the day before Halloween. It was a great way to start the day! The Ducks are our Favorite Part! Dancing With the Witches. We had a wonderful lunch at Archibald's. I love that place! That night we got the kids dressed up for the tricks and treats. (Ok, it was mostly treats! Love that is not m...

Bates Family: February 2010
http://atozbates.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 25, 2010. One thing that Aaron and I have been very grateful for is Zack's love of books and reading. A great joy we have is that Lexi is following in his footsteps. We are very frequently asked to read to her, and she likes to sit in the "Lexi sized" chair and read her books. She's cute, huh? Another great thing to see is Zack reading to her. I really hope that we can foster this love to last their lifetimes! Posted by Bates Family. Labels: Learning new things. Posted by Bates Family.
