Brantley Bunch: December 2012
http://dallasbrantleyfamily.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 25, 2012. Our Elf on the shelf left with Santa last night. We had a lot of fun with Dorf this year and the kids were much more into it this year than last! We did it a little differently this year as well (thanks to Pinterest) and we will continue it next year, it made quite an impact on the kids. Much more than I thought it would. Here are just a few of the things Dorf did while he was with us. Ask either kid and they can name almost all the rest of them! Monday, December 24, 2012.

Brantley Bunch: June 2012
http://dallasbrantleyfamily.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 14, 2012. Oh how we LOVE summer! School was out on June 1st and on June 2nd we headed to the Panhandle for some much needed family time! The kids AdOrE the farm and were out the door at the crack of dawn for some fun in the sun each day we were in Perryton. Papa wasn't afraid of some snuggles from a wet boy - he just improvised! Their friend Rainbow made a visit for the kiddos again - ride 'em cowboy! More fun in the mud! Sam started calling them "pockets" a few years ago and it's stuck!

Friday, April 27, 2012. Matthew Clark Brantley's 2nd Birthday. Happy 2nd Birthday sweet "Matty Clark"! Oh how we love you so very much! You make us laugh, you keep us on our toes, and you make our hearts so happy! It was obvious that the only kind of birthday party that was appropriate for our little man was a Toy Story party ;). Sweet Kale came all the way from Midland - love him soo much! A birthday party wouldn't be the same without our Papa. And Grams and Baba! The big boys" - manning the grill.

Monday, October 22, 2012. We signed up for our first sports league this fall! We decided to sign Sam up for soccer along with her friend Aidan so that she would know someone on the team (and we would know someone on the side lines ;)! We got the pink shin-guards, we got personally designed jerseys for the team (designed by Kevin! We got the cleats, and we got ready with practices in the backyard. Grams and Papa made the drive to Dallas to support Sam for her first game! Go Susu, Go! Don't judge ;) ha!

Brantley Bunch: May recap.....
http://dallasbrantleyfamily.blogspot.com/2013/10/may-recap.html
Tuesday, October 15, 2013. Ok It's been awhile! Longer than I've ever gone since starting I believe! You'll understand why after my recap :-), let's start with May. In May we sent out this little pic announcing that we would be adding a sweet little girl to our family of four! The boys would forever be out-voted ;-). Sam also graduated from Pre-K! It was a rough start for Sam and her Mommy but proved to be an amazing experience for us and prepared her so well for kindergarten! Get used to the Stairs.

Brantley Bunch: Happy Third Birthday Matthew Clark
http://dallasbrantleyfamily.blogspot.com/2013/05/happy-third-birthday-matthew-clark.html
Sunday, May 5, 2013. Happy Third Birthday Matthew Clark. Matt requested another Toy Story or "Store Story" if you are Matt, party at "his Daddy's school". When asked what he wanted to eat at his party he said "cupcakes and jelly beans". When given other options like fruit and juice he told us, "those aren't treats! Isn't it every kid's dream to have free range of the coach's closet? What a lucky kid ;). He also got a buzz lightyear scooter and helmet. He loved it! Still loves Buzz and Woody. We are a bus...

Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Sam spotted a pretty pink unicorn in the store awhile back and begged to have it. I decided it was time to start teaching the value of a $1 so we went home and made a chore chart. She helped us come up with 12 chores to pay for the $12 unicorn. When we asked her what she thought a chore was she promptly said, "washing stockings! What do you mean by that, Sam? Well, there ya go! The rest of her chores hung on the fridge and she marked them off as they were completed. Matt requested ...

Brantley Bunch: November 2012
http://dallasbrantleyfamily.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 15, 2012. This year we decided to head to Perryton and trick-or-treat my family! Chuck wasn't able to join us so the kids and I loaded up in the swagger wagon on Friday and headed down the road. Each trip makes me like my swagger wagon more and more btw! It was a short trip but we squeezed in as much fun as we could - most importantly, trick-or-treating the Rimas :). They had quite the spread of goodies that Sam and Matt were pleased to help themselves to :). It want my kids to always ...

Friday, October 18, 2013. As we prepared to move to Amarillo we tried to keep things fairly normal for the kids and soak up as many Dallas-isms as we could. First of all - we buckled down and potty trained! He had been ready for awhile, just not interested or motivated. We had tried treats, incentives, etc and he just wasn't interested! Finally we just told him that when the diapers ran out, he was going to undies. That day came right after school let out and he never looked back- stinker! It was a rough...

Most days were spent sledding down the hill and all sorts of snow fun. Henry refused to get on a sled and thought sliding on his tummy was more fun! Elizabeth Swan and Will Turner. I am aware ...

The Olson Family Times
Wednesday, May 14, 2014. Just as I feel that this time of winter should be over, and the warmth of spring should be here; it's not. But the end is in sight and God has given us hope. Life is simple and life is good. We are just finishing our school year and it has been a great one! We were able to be a part of a "non-official" Classical Conversations homeschool co-op and the group was such a blessing to us. The kids looked forward to it each week and so did I. How did that happen? The church has grown so...
