https://hopefulchaplain.wordpress.com/2012/10/07/why-do-i-follow-jesus

October 7, 2012. Why do I follow Jesus? Not so many years ago I would have been offended by this question, put off by its glaring oversimplification and colloquial nature. How can the complexity of deity be reduced to this simple question? But my heart hears the question differently now. I see beauty in the simplification. Life or death? Extended hand or clenched fist? Take the road or don’t. One thought on “ follow. October 11, 2012 at 9:40 pm. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

Theological Memo # 1 | fallingupwardinza

https://fallingupwardinzar.wordpress.com/2012/09/21/theolgical-memo-1

Continuing a spirtual journey in South Africa. September 21, 2012. Theological Memo # 1. At the risk of repeating myself. From my previous post, I will try to re-reflect on the theme of writing theology well. I must admit that I have gained a new sense of freedom after reading Benjamin Meyers’ piece on Blogging as a Theological Discourse. To blog is to speak in print….very intriguing…. 2 thoughts on “ Theological Memo # 1. September 28, 2012 at 5:30 PM. I’m glad that you found the “Blogging a...I suggest...

Continuing a spirtual journey in South Africa. October 6, 2012. A dynamic process of reflection. (p.256 WTW). We ask “WHY” within the context of God’s presence, power and purpose in our lives. When we theologically reflect, we are called to have faith in the place that is within. 2 thoughts on “ Week 4. October 8, 2012 at 2:29 AM. Sure do miss you around here…. October 11, 2012 at 8:20 PM. October 21, 2012. Recently, in preparing for a Bible Study I am leading at church, words in a passage from Matthew caused me to pause, read again, and view the passage in a new way. When they had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret. After the people of that place recognized him, they sent word throughout the region and brought all who were sick to him. And begged him that they might touch even the fringe of his cloak; and all who touched were healed. (Matthew 14:34-36). I would like to begin my...

Continuing a spirtual journey in South Africa. November 18, 2012. Go home and write a page and let that page come out of you-then it will be true. Come out of me.Who is me? What makes me who I am? Is it people, surroundings, experiences, God? Is it what I see, what I feel, what I think, what I believe, who I admire or who raised me that makes me who I am? I have many titles; child, sister, aunt, spouse, mother, friend, educator, student, expat, child of God, but who am I? Do I change with each role?

Thoughts and Reflections Along the Journey. Skip to primary content. November 16, 2012. We hear the message. We make more plans. We work all night. We speak and write. We mail needed things. We plan benefits for Spring. We call to others. To join our might. To cook, to wrap,. To bring the light. We donate funds,. We go on runs,. We give our things. Just those we don’t need). Thoughts and Reflections Along the Journey. Skip to primary content. October 6, 2012. If I was in this picture with my loving family, I would be light and floating like a small, thin leaf in a gentle wind. I would waft around each member of the Trinity, waiting to elicit a smile before moving on to the next. I know I am loved and cherished. My presence makes them deeply happy. In this, I have found my heaven. This entry was posted in Uncategorized. One thought on “ Rublev’s Trinity.

Why Do I Follow Jesus? | ninabacas

https://ninabacas.wordpress.com/2012/10/06/why-do-i-follow-jesus

Thoughts and Reflections Along the Journey. Skip to primary content. Why Do I Follow Jesus? October 6, 2012. Jesus resonates in me. What do I mean by this? I mean that I can’t always articulate it with words but everything in me embraces Jesus without reservation or hesitation. How He lived; what He taught; what He has done for us. Every cell in my body cries “Yes! My heart seeks life and light, thus I follow Jesus. I pray for connection and that he claims me as his own. October 11, 2012 at 4:21 PM.

Continuing a spirtual journey in South Africa. October 19, 2012. After hours of contemplation. Is the time I spend meditating in shibosayna much like contemplative prayer? While I lay quietly listening to my breathing, will God’s voice speak to me? Will Yoga guide me further along in the spiritual journey? Some of the titles that struck a cord with me will be found below. Finding God: The Search for the Divine in Everyday Life and Experience. London: Rider, 2000. Guptara, Prabhu, and Amiel Osmaston.

theoreees's Blog | The greatest WordPress.com site in all the land!

The greatest WordPress.com site in all the land! April 2, 2013. Can we just do without falling inlove? Ever wondered if its possible to just be without having to worry about a “loved one”? Is there really a way to go about life without falling in love? No, there isn’t. Its “compulsory” or so they say. Even the coldest of hearts find that special someone that melts them. Hitler melted six million jews but still had that special woman that melted his heart. You realize this fact, you become delusional, see...
