THE WORLD ACCORDING TO ART: June 2006
http://trimotor.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Comment-link {margin-left:.6em;}. THE WORLD ACCORDING TO ART. Monday, June 26, 2006. When I retired some 25 years ago I thought "This is it! I shall now loll about the house, sleep late, travel some, and, basically, just do all the things I had never had time or money to pursue in my working years. Boy, was I in for a rude suprise later in life. The two places we had considered most were Springdale at Lucy Corr in Virginia and Brandermill Woods, both near our children and near Richmond. At Springdale...

Comment-link {margin-left:.6em;}. THE WORLD ACCORDING TO ART. Saturday, March 11, 2006. The Robber Barons Live! I'm starting this blog while I am boiling mad. Perhaps I will cool it by Monday am but probably I'll just get hotter and hotter. Stay tuned. Medicare (read taxpayers) and Anthem (read insurance subscribers) picked up all of the tab, including the several doctors who participated on one level or another. 30,000, and that is just for the direct hospital costs. This would include the manufacturers...

THE WORLD ACCORDING TO ART: Blogs Yet Unborn
http://trimotor.blogspot.com/2005/09/blogs-yet-unborn.html
Comment-link {margin-left:.6em;}. THE WORLD ACCORDING TO ART. Tuesday, September 27, 2005. I can think of new blog subjects much faster than I can type (or even think) so here is a list of forthcomng ones. The titles are not yet in concrete; however this is about what they will be. Do you know any poor doctors? I want it all and I want it right now. Big house, little house. Status car or transportation. Hauling the meat. Airline status today. More on getting out of Iraq. Why do we bother to save?

THE WORLD ACCORDING TO ART: "Hauling the Meat"
http://trimotor.blogspot.com/2005/10/hauling-meat.html
Comment-link {margin-left:.6em;}. THE WORLD ACCORDING TO ART. Saturday, October 08, 2005. This caveat will appear in this post and all future ones just to remind you that what you are reading is mostly opinion with an occasional fact or two thrown in. Of course a lot of my posts will have a bit of nostalgia in them and for that I consider myself quite lucky. Will there be any happy nostalgic thoughts about airline travel as present-day travelers grow older? Chalk one up for Bin Laden. The absolute re...

THE WORLD ACCORDING TO ART: Learning the Use of "Blog This"
http://trimotor.blogspot.com/2005/09/learning-use-of-blog-this.html
Comment-link {margin-left:.6em;}. THE WORLD ACCORDING TO ART. Sunday, September 18, 2005. Learning the Use of "Blog This". I think I know how that works; however, until I try it and see I cannot be sure. First few times I tried it my comments went to one of the other blogs that I started when I really didn't know what I was doing. Sure, I read all the directions and tried to follow them but my 77-year-old brain is always about a day late and a dollar short. Comments: Post a Comment. Links to this post:.

THE WORLD ACCORDING TO ART: September 2005
http://trimotor.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_archive.html
Comment-link {margin-left:.6em;}. THE WORLD ACCORDING TO ART. Wednesday, September 28, 2005. Big House, Little House. I live in a little house. I am retired and could no doubt get a mortgage for a much larger and more impressive abode. There are times when I even covet a larger house; however, those times are few and far between. I could do a whole post about that. Our best house was custom built brick and qualifies as large although not really impressive. I do remember insisting on three bedrooms, t...

Surface Ripple: August 2005
http://surfaceripple.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
August 31, 2005. Things in Erin's thoughts- a brief summary. So many are feeling pain and loss from hurricane Katrina. I cannot wrap my mind around the pictures that we are seeing. I am not sure that anyone really believed it could be as bad as this. My heart aches for those that will never see their homes or family members again. This coming weekend is generally accepted as the last weekend of summer. I am not ready for fall. I need three more weeks of 80 weather, and then I will welcome in the ...But n...
