Overall, I’m feeling pretty good for being 8 months pregnant despite that my iron level is really low and my thyroid is under-functioning more than usual. I’m “trying” to remain positive and give thanks for a healthy, easy pregnancy even on the days when all the changes taking place inside my body are taking their toll on me. The baby is moving a lot!

Thursday, August 15, 2013. I gained A LOT of weight in college and I promised myself that I would never let myself get like that again. I am just a few pounds shy of my fat fatty weight and that's depressing. So, Matthew and I decided to invest in a Withings Body Analyzer Scale because I don't want to just focus on my weight, I'm really wanting my body fat percentage to be at a normal range. The scale arrived yesterday afternoon and I'm so excited that we have it! As of this morning:. Fat Mass 33.5%.

Saturday, November 2, 2013. Today I'm thankful that I get to experience an actual fall. The trees in Texas change colors but nothing compared to what takes place up here. I've never seen such bright yellows, reds, and oranges. If I could figure out how to transfer pictures from my phone to my mac, I would. Believe me! Maybe someday I'll figure it out. Monday, December 31, 2012. This post is long overdue, I'm terrible at updating this. Yes, that was the highlight of the day. Because it was so humid outside we decided to take it nice and slow and I felt great the entire time, just walked by the water stations when we needed to. At mile 10 I was surprised out how great I was feeling so I told my running buddies "See you at the finish line! I am planning on running in the Dallas Rock-n-Roll Half in March. :). The exciting times of L, K, Z and S! I know, we're definitely a little crazy, but we're living life to the fullest and enjoying every minute! Holy Moly, over a whole month has gone by.WOWZERS! The kids' b'days are coming up way too fast for me too! My mom is doing really well and the cancer is shrinking in one spot and they're keeping an eye on the other spot under her left clavicle. Tuesday, July 17, 2012. Too Hot To Handle 15K, 2012. On Sunday I ran in my first 15k! I was definitely slow but that's okay. The race is called Too Hot To Handle for a reason and I didn't want to push my body too hard in the heat. My goals were to finish the race, keep a steady pace, and run the whole time. Sunday, June 24, 2012. This morning I ran 9 miles with my RunOn! Group 9 miles. I can't believe I can actually go that far. The first time I tried to run the entire 5k I thought I had reached my limit. Apparently not! It was definitely a hot day today but the RunOn folks treat us well and provide water and gatorade every two miles or so. On mile 7, someone was out there giving out popsicles and ice cold wet rags.
