Tuesday, July 28, 2015. This caught my eye due to its resemblance to the Renault 900 concept. That was built in the same year, with the forward control/ rear engine layout. This though was built by styling house Ghia in 1959 and penned by stylist Tom Tjaarda. Again like the Renault, there’s not much information about the car apart from it travelled to Moscow in the early 60’s, although a second more streamlined and better proportioned Selene II was built in 1962. Just another WordPress.com site. It’s Not the Size of the Car, But How You Use It. On July 5, 2012. S of today I’ve put 1,287 miles on Abby the Abarth. And every mile has been pure driving enjoyment. Whether it be my daily drive to work, a late night cruise, or a roadtrip, Jeremy Clarkson wasn’t lying when he said with the Abarth you’re paying for “smiles-per-mile”. The Abarth continues to impress me, and here are a few of the reasons why. Got to love that blow-off valve noise and the turbo whistle.
