Monday, June 1, 2015. It is crazy to me that summer just started and I already feel like it's over. Our summer is going to be that crazy! Lot's of traveling, lot's of company, and a whole lotta fun times ahead of us! But for now, I'm just trying to let these kids have a simple summer before the craziness starts. Sleeping in, riding bikes for hours on end outside, playing with the neighborhood kids, running through sprinklers, and eating popsicles. That's what summer's all about!

Wednesday, May 27, 2015. It's been a pretty brutal month as far as Ryan's work schedule goes so we decided to take a much needed family get away for Memorial Day weekend! Destination: Peoria, Illinois. What is there to do there? Nothing. But some of our bestest friends ever live there so we didn't need anything but each other to stay entertained! I'm only partly kidding, there are a few things to do there ;-). We hit up a cute ice cream/candy store in town square after watching Cole's baseball game.
