Pixiecup Industries: June 2012
http://pixiecupindustries.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
How is it that I come up with a plan for the day and by nearly 4pm, I haven't done what I set out to do? I completed this quilt a few weeks ago as a grandmother's quilt. It's baby size. I want to love it so much. But I don't. Not the pattern's fault. I just don't love it. Pattern was a free one from here. Background is Kona Orchid. I used a Cape Ann charm pack for the blocks. The top came together quickly so it was definitely an instant gratification type of project. Labels: 2012 completed projects.

the plaid scottie: February 2014
http://www.plaidscottie.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Today is . . February 12, 2014. Just finished up this pillow for a friend, and it will be on its way to its intended just as soon as I can get the Plaid Baby all strapped up and ready for the post office. I echo quilted the scissors for texture, since the pillow itself is very simple and I felt it needed a little more "oomph". The second reason I decided to quilt the back is because I wanted to do an inset zipper, and it would look all uneven and weird if one side was quilted, and the other was plain ol'...

My Crafty Crap: June 2012
http://my-crafty-crap.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 20, 2012. It's been so long since I shared a WIP Wednesday, I'm happy to have a big update this week! Surprisingly I'm really not working on a whole lot right now, but I'm spending a lot of time working on Coop's quilt. My main goal is to get it done by Coop's birthday in August, something that I was starting to doubt I'd be able to do, but now I'm hoping to get it finished up by next week. I've made a lot of progress! I finished up the quilting on Sunday, and am working on the binding now.
