Just wanted to share a couple commission paintings I finished up recently. These are literally the first 2 oil paintings I have ever done. Definitely learning as I go, patience is a virtue. 12x24 inches, Oils on canvas panel. 24x30 inches, Oils on stretched canvas. I did this drawing for All 'tooned up. Was kind of fun to do something really bright. My take on the Japanese Oni. This was a really fun drawing that I did for the January edition of "All 'Tooned Up". Style This is what I came up with.

Merry Christmas, Assholes. Arte de los muertos. I had a ton of fun working on this commission piece tonight. I have been wanting to do one of these Day of the Dead chicks for a long time, especially with the roses. Trying not to rely so much on reference and really draw from my mental library and imagination. This is what I came up with tonight. GTP has been a long time inspiration for me.
