Restaurant Hoppers

Sunday, February 19, 2012. This past Saturday, with Jess in Austin for her bachelorette party, I went to Bubby's. In Tribeca with my parents. Based on the name, I assumed that Bubby's was going to be an old, small spot that served Jewish food. I showed up and quickly saw house cured bacon on the Specials sign outside. My assumption was wrong. We got there at 12:45 and had to wait 30 minutes for a table of 3. Not too shabby since it was seasonably warm and the sun was shining. Posted by Eric Farkas. LV is...

Restaurant Hoppers: February 2011

http://therestauranthoppers.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html

Friday, February 25, 2011. One of the first things my sister Elissa said to me after I told her the location of our new apartment was that I had to try this incredible sandwich shop on Sullivan Street. After doing some digging, she remembered that the name of the shop was Alidoro and it's located on Sullivan between Spring and Prince. Posted by Eric Farkas. Links to this post. Restaurant Hoppers: Wogies

http://therestauranthoppers.blogspot.com/2011/11/wogies.html

Thursday, November 17, 2011. First off, Wogies. Is a Philly bar, so beware. Me and a couple of buddies were looking for a bar to watch some football (TEBOW! Drink some beers, and eat some good food. Wogies was the spot and ended up three for three! 3-4 draughts of Six Point can't be beat. Medium-sized TVs in every corner of the fairly-small bar was adequate enough to watch the game from any seat at our table. Plus, the wings, waffle fries, and cheesesteaks were delicious bar-style food. All you need to k...

Restaurant Hoppers: July 2011

http://therestauranthoppers.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html

Monday, July 25, 2011. When the temperature is hovering around triple digits, humidity is 100%, and dinnertime rolls around, you're not thinking steak and potatoes. This Saturday night during Heat Wave 2011, a seafood meal was calling my name. Having just eaten at Pearl's twice in the recent months, we ventured east to Ed's Lobster Bar ( read our friend's blog and inspiration here. To see what it had to offer. We left stuffed, but not too full to indulge in a mini chocolate lobster. Links to this post.
