He has a look of disgust in this pic. I don't think he's a fan of a camera in his face.). Zane had his 8 week appt. yesterday and unfortunately got a few shots. His face turned bright red right when she gave him the first shot. He was so upset for just a few minutes and then fell asleep quick. It was so sad to see him in so much pain. He weighed 14 lb 7 oz and 23.5 " long. (85th-97th%). A couple nights ago was the first night in his crib and he did fabulous. He loves to eat and is good at it. Derek gave ...

Well you wanna know what I have been up to lately? Let's just say, that my Google Reader used to say 1,000. For weeks. And now, it's at 431. And these are all blogs I enjoy. Maybe I need to cut back? Oh well, at least I enjoy it. I actually love where I work and I love what I do. So I shouldn't be complaining. But remember how I am reading all those blogs, I am getting way too many projects I want to try, and how am I supposed to try them when I am gone? Maybe one day I will get to them. One day.

Baby Zane is growing like a weed. (Top left is newborn, 1 month, 2 month, and then 3 month). We are loving him every second.even his fussy moments :). I hesitated going but I just wanted to make sure he didn't have an ear infection or anything. After getting an Xray (to check lungs), nose swab, blood test in the arm, and urine sample (with a catheter) they diagnosed him with influenza. The poor little guy. :( The Dr. gave him a prescription to help out. Zane at 3 months:. 16 lbs 3 oz. Loves to be held.

This little guy is growing up way too fast for me. And I don't like it. He's going to be eating steak soon with his new set of chompers. Zane's new pearly whites. He loves to feel them with his tongue and bottom lip. Sunday morning I was holding him and got a glance at his gums and thought something was in his mouth. So I felt it, and it was hard and sharp. Oh great! A few days later the other guy came in. Zane had his 4 month check up a few days ago. He weighed 17 lbs 8 oz and is healthy as can be.

Boys, boys, boys! And that's exactly what we're having, a boy! We were pretty much convinced it was a girl. (Thanks to the Chinese calendar and the girl dreams we both had). Girls dominate in my family, so I just figured I would be like my sisters. We were both so shocked when the ultrasound tech said, "Well I can tell right off the bat what it is, do you guys want to know? Derek's face just glowed! He is so excited to have his boy. Thursday, March 6, 2014. These little kiddos were pretty proud of their balloons and couldn't wait for Papa to catch them. The big launch:1,2,3 "Happy Birthday Dad/Son/Papa/Steve". And up to Heaven they went. Although it was very cold the snow stopped falling just long enough for us to launch the balloons before starting again. It was a perfect moment. After we could no longer see the balloons we ate dinner and this delicious cookies and cream fudge cake I made. It was so good! And so did Nana.

Mailey's umbilical cord stump fell off when she was about a week and half old, and she got to have her first soak in the tub kind of bath. She loved it!
