Living and loving the free range life. June 20, 2014. We have quite a small garden. Don’t get me wrong, it’s much bigger than the postage stamps you get in the City, but it’s not very big and it’s not very… garden-like. It’s all decked you see, so it doesn’t look very green. We did, however, inherit a (slightly unruly) rose bush that stubbornly poked its way through the wooden panels, right in the corner by the house. A beautiful splash of colour in our little corner of the world. Marmite mac and cheese!

Last weekend, in the beautiful sunshine that seems to have come and gone far too quickly, Tom and I went for a ten mile walk in and around the Huddersfield hills. This route is a particular favourite of ours as you pass nine reservoirs and two waterfalls on the way. We first found the route at www.walkingmeltham.com. The route is described as “strenuous”, but once you’ve done the (90 minute! All we need now is a dog!
