Monday, May 11, 2015. The Great "Frod" Adventure. We were excited to pick them up at the airport and bring them home to introduce them to Sigh-Bar. After checking out our little piece of heaven on earth and a late lunch, we decided to ride into Whitefish for some local homemade ice cream at Sweet Peaks. Saturday, April 11, 2015. Ben popped up his movie screen on the patio, and the kids loved having dessert while they watched a movie outdoors. They were so excited to open their eggs, find a number, and pick their prizes. Plus, Tara brought Easter bags filled with surprises for everyone! Wednesday, September 3, 2014. Leo was with the Cosby family, and Aunt Amy helped him and her girls make pink cupcakes for June's birth day. They were all so anxious to come to the hospital and meet little June and have a turn holding her close. We are so grateful to welcome sweet baby June into our family, and for her safe arrival. Wednesday, October 22, 2014. Family time . then on to Sigh-Bar. Dad fell, and has had a tough couple of weeks in the hospital, so it was fortunate timing to be able to spend some time with him. He is slowly recovering, but definitely needs to be in an assisted care facility, so we were happy to be able to help move some of his furniture, etc., into his room at the Seasons of Santaquin. Thursday, May 8, 2014. Road trip . again! Last spring we drove the flatbed truck to Montana and swapped it for the GMC, Hurlee. The flatbed is great around the ranch, but has only one bench seat (which doesn't do the job when the family is visiting), so Lee kept his vehicular radar tuned and finally found a perfect solution: Surlee. Friday, July 4, 2014. Summer has definitely arrived in south Texas - hot and humid days, and frequent crazy thunder storms! Everything grows like crazy, thanks to the tropical weather, so we spend way too much time mowing, weeding, trimming, etc. (I always wish sweat was filled with fat calories!
