Life as we know it. Saturday, May 23, 2009. Saw this on someone else's blog and had to stop myself from LOL. (It's 121 am and the house is quiet so I don't want to wake anyone.) Yeah I know I should be in bed but I'm not. Thinking of Having Kids? Do this 11-step program first! 1 Go to the grocery store. 2 Arrange to have your salary paid directly to their head office. 4 Pick up the newspaper. 5 Read it for the last time. 1 Methods of discipline. 2 Lack of patience. 3 Appallingly low tolerance levels.

Life as we know it. Monday, September 15, 2008. Fun in Southern Alberta. Lots of fun stories to share this post. Had the opportunity to go down to Cardston and Grandpa sit while my parents went on a week long Alaskan cruise. My two sisters (Holly and Ada) and Holly’s dog Koona joined Kellan, Scott, Sasha and I. I think a fun time was had by all – even Grandpa! I think they enjoyed our lunch more than we did! Mom and Dad came home late Wednesday night and we were lucky enough to spend the day as a family ...

Life as we know it. Tuesday, October 27, 2009. We just spent the last week down at my parents house in Cardston. My grandfather passed away on Oct 16 and Scott's employers were kind enough to let him take the entire week off with only 15 min notice. They may not pay the most but they are good to their employees in other ways so I can't really complain, well except for the money but that's a whole nother post! Grandpa and his son in law (my dad). I guess really the title of this blog post shouldn't be "Christmas Baking #1" because there is no baking involved, just microwaving but Christmas Microwaving sounds dumb. . . 3/4 c margarine or butter. 2/3 c evaporated milk. 1 pkg (8 oz) Bakers Semi-Sweet Chocolate, broken into pieces. 1 jar (7 oz) Marshmallow Creme. 1 c chopped nuts. Microwave margarine 4 quart microwavable bowl on HIGH 1 minute or until melted. Add sugar and milk; mix well.

He's grown so much from his 5 lb 10 oz, 18 1/2 inch birth measurements! I was at the produce store with Holly and picked up a Honeydew and said "K's head was about this size when he was born."
