Living life as a family of three, lots of fun and adventures to come, read on as…. The adventures unfold…. Our family has grown…. We were delighted to have Jacob Owen join our family on March 27 at 4:37 pm He was 6lbs 10 oz and 18 in. Big Sister Claire was so happy to hold him! Our first family of FOUR picture. Eventually, I hope to finish up posting our winter pictures, Jacobs birth story and his first month. Things are a little crazy right now, so it is really hard to find time to blog.

We went to gardens for the drive thru Christmas lights. Sadly I didn’t get pictures of this, but we had fun seeing the lights again. Making sugar cookie cutouts. The kids loved making their gumdrop trees. We made a few crafts, read lots of books, sang songs, and acted out the Christmas story too. Cousins at the gym.

Claire was really excited about Christmas morning and woke up really early, I think she heard some noise from our house guests and couldn’t fall back asleep at 6:30am. She usually sleeps to 8am so this was a huge surprise. We did get her to wait an hour before we all got up. The presents were ready! Santa knew she would love the indoor trampoline. The kids loved their presents!

Claire wanted pink and purple for the colors. I found the printables on Etsy. The colors were perfect and it was a gymnastics theme! We used the banner, cupcake toppers, water bottle wrappers, and invite. I also used the cupcake toppers to decorate the hats and hula hoop favors. You can tell in the pictures she was having the best time!

Thursday, November 11, 2010. De Ford we get a little something called Cabin Fever. It's highly contagious with symptoms of cranky pants, fussy faces, and pains in your - well, everywhere. Get the heck out of dodge before the steam bellows out of your ears. And so we did just that yesterday. Most folks will likely scratch their heads at the thought that we ventured off of camp property to have some outside peace, but your backyard is your backyard - sometimes you need to hop. Friday, November 19, 2010. The more I am in a mainstream environment the more I want to retreat back to my little cabin in the woods. Retreat may be too passive - run like heck is likely more appropriate. And Pensacola has not failed me yet, it has me wanting to lace up my running shoes. This is what I saw as I was driving to my gran's house the other day, complete with a photo of beautifully sculpted (and airbrushed I'm sure) abs of a presumed "mommy":.
