Produced Locally: Cabin Fever
http://fordbaby09.blogspot.com/2010/11/cabin-fever.html
Thursday, November 11, 2010. De Ford we get a little something called Cabin Fever. It's highly contagious with symptoms of cranky pants, fussy faces, and pains in your - well, everywhere. Get the heck out of dodge before the steam bellows out of your ears. And so we did just that yesterday. Most folks will likely scratch their heads at the thought that we ventured off of camp property to have some outside peace, but your backyard is your backyard - sometimes you need to hop. The BIG slide with daddy.

Friday, November 19, 2010. The more I am in a mainstream environment the more I want to retreat back to my little cabin in the woods. Retreat may be too passive - run like heck is likely more appropriate. And Pensacola has not failed me yet, it has me wanting to lace up my running shoes. This is what I saw as I was driving to my gran's house the other day, complete with a photo of beautifully sculpted (and airbrushed I'm sure) abs of a presumed "mommy":. I almost forgot to go when the light turned green.

Wednesday, January 27, 2010. I have no idea what I want to ramble about today. But I feel like rambling. I read others' blogs and envy their life. Their ramblings. Their freedom. I wouldn't trade my life for anything else in the world. Ever. I love my husband. I love our baby. I love our ministry. I love our family and friends. I love our pup. I love our situation. I realize how fortunate I am to have the life that I do. But I miss my freedom sometimes. Pursue endeavors on a whim. It's like spring cleani...

Saturday, July 31, 2010. Wet Behind the Ears. The allusion is to the inexperience of a baby, so recently born as to still be wet. The phrase was in circulation in the USA as early as the twentieth century - twenty years before it was first recorded elsewhere. The converse of the phrase - "dry back of the ears" - was also known in the USA from around the same date. And that's acceptable, right? In this case it will have to be. Because the phrase is punny. You will see. Hot and sweaty, just. And so we did&...
