Wednesday, February 13, 2013. Goodbye and Hello. (I Hope! The Scottish Home: February 2012

http://thescottishhome.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html

Thursday, February 09, 2012. Our Belated but Beautiful Designer Burns Supper (And a Spooky Picture! The Rustic Supper Table. John and Brenda have been wedding photographers for much of their working life so far, but Brenda has always had an interest in antique and vintage interiors and crafts and has a huge talent for interior design. But she can also work on a grander scale - as she did here, last week. Fireplace trimmed with greenery, roses, feathers. Note spooky 'orbs' on TV set! I write novels - some...

The Scottish Home: Antique Textiles, Scottish Islands and eBooks on Amazon Kindle

http://thescottishhome.blogspot.com/2012/05/antique-textiles-scottish-islands-and.html

Monday, May 07, 2012. Antique Textiles, Scottish Islands and eBooks on Amazon Kindle. When the gorse is in bloom, kissing's in season. As many readers of this blog probably know by now, I have two jobs although I'd find it hard to say which is the 'day job' because I'm fairly obsessive about both of them. I buy, collect and sell (when I can bear to let them go! If you're in the UK and here. If you're in the US. Gorgeous cover art by textile artist Alison Bell. The Curiosity Cabinet will almost certainly ...

Sunday, September 25, 2011. Apples, Apples and More Apples (And Some Grapes! It's that time of year again, and the venerable old apple tree at the bottom of our garden is full of fruit, and also keeping us well supplied with windfalls in the rough weather. Of which we have had far, far too much, this summer, here in the West of Scotland. The apples are, according to Nigel Deacon. Meanwhile, I've been doing rather a lot of apple cooking! Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Our still very wintry garden has been pruned to within an inch of its life. Actually, that isn't strictly true, and the wonderful local gardener who has done the work has made a fine job of it. But it won't really look right till the leaves start to come through - by which time everything will grow at such a rate that you won't be able to see exactly where the cutting has taken place. gamesecosse: August 2007

http://gamesecosse.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html

Friday, August 31, 2007. Having said this, I did also notice that there are a fair few adult orientated titles as well - the remake of the Resident Evil series being the one to note for me. Considering the slightly over-priced next gen machines, I imagine the Gamecube will be a good investment. Posted by qmchaz64 @ 2:52 pm. Sunday, August 26, 2007. Yesterday I got back from a (very) preliminary Rowing trial in Newcastle regarding the 2012 Olympic Games. Ok. I had always suspected that the dreaded leger.

Monday, February 25, 2008. I should mention Rainy Woods. Briefly while I'm on this train of thought. I saw it on the same demo disc as Heavy Rain, and I originally assumed it to be a title of similar ilk. As it turns out, Rainy Woods is more of a survival horror title, but the dark atmospheric mood seems to be shared between the two. I will write more about this game as information is released. Monday, July 21, 2008. Soul Calibur 4 - Critical Finishers. I was just browsing Youtube. For Soul Calibur 4 videos and. I happened to come across a compilation video of all of the critical finishing moves included in the game. I suspect this was as a result of popular demand, but in a way, it ruins the surprise of seeing the moves 'live'. Ie Crossing into another world. Or maybe I'm reading into it too much! It looks good and adds another dimension to the gameplay. Posted by qmchaz64 @ 6:41 pm. Posted by...

Wednesday, October 31, 2007. Was reading a gaming magazine yesterday and noticed an article about Silent Hill 5. It pointed out that the original developer Team Silent has disbanded and The Collective are now the team with the task of creating the 5 th. Sunday, September 21, 2008. Indeed, very similar to the premise of Dead Space. It shows that success is not all down to originality, and Dead Space knows this, apparently full to the brim of movie references. What is equally or even more important than originality, is spotting a trend and then sticking to a formula. If it works, why change it? It's almost mathematical in nature. Tuesday, July 31, 2007. Hi and welcome to Gamesecosse. I had originally created this blog a few years ago to solely discuss video games from an alternative perspective, but this didn't really come together. Anyway, I'm back online again and this time I've decided write a personal weblog with an emphasis on computer games and that whole industry. Keep in touch! Posted by qmchaz64 @ 4:13 pm.
