Monday, August 10, 2015. Mackenzie has been trying to earn money for various toys she'd like. We have developed a "bean" system where the girls earn beans by being good or doing chores or good deeds, but they lose beans for throwing tantrums or not sharing or listening. Each bean is worth $0.10 and they can trade beans for money once a week. The girls now have to buy their own toys (within reason) and their own treats. Life lesson learned young.
