Monday, May 10, 2010. Clifford Costume-Book Character Day. As Charlie gets older (9 months now! I'm able to do a little more creative stuff other than just watching Quilting related TV and reading my stacks of Quilting and Art related magazines and books. My latest creation was Claire's Clifford costume. I plan on using the felt scraps to make something new that is more Art Quilt related;but, for now, Clifford will have to do! Good to sew and Claire even helped! 3 pcs red craft felt. 1 pc black craft felt.

Monday, March 16, 2009. This is my fabric postcard entry for 2009. I used my Amethyst Dream woven fabric as my background. I really love making and using that stuff. This is a close up view of the larger heart. The center is fabric paper I created, the middle one is sewn with RickyTims razzle Dazzle thread and the outer one in metallic elastic cording that I couched down. Saturday, March 27, 2010. While I haven't had a lot of creative time lately, I did manage to create two new piece for a recent swaps sponsored by. Cloth, Paper, Scissors. One is for their Art Affirmation Postcard Swap. And another is for their Mixed Media Pendant Swap. In several weeks, I will get a postcard and a pendant in the mail created by another artist. Thursday, May 28, 2009. OK, OK, I know it is May 28 th. And here I am blogging about April's journal quilt. Let's just say I've had a lot going on. I've been working on gifts for my daughter's teachers and they have been turning out quite nicely. (I'll post them at a future date.) They are wonderful teachers and really deserve a special gift so that's no problem. I've enjoyed creating their gifts. Carin other words.we're full.).
