http://52weeks52hats.blogspot.com/2011/01/tam-c.html
52 Weeks, 52 Hats. Thursday, January 6, 2011. It's Friday, so that must mean it's time to roll out the latest installment of 52 hats. Queue the soundtrack of trumpets blaring, fireworks bursting, and crowds going wild. This is #5, so I'm nearly 10% done! Not that there's any turning back at this point- knitting 47 more hats is my official 2011 Knitolution, and I risk severe shunning by my fellow knitters if I fail to deliver. a fate worse than death, it seems. Seems as though I'm keeping this one. Techni...

52 Weeks, 52 Hats. Tuesday, November 8, 2011. I had a productive, fun-filled, and restful weekend, so I think I'm ready to face hat 47:. Let's just try it on. I know I have a tiny head, but this is ridiculous. SO, for the purposes of 52 hats, I'm going to consider this done. Come December 1st, I'm ripping it out to start anew- should have plenty of time to finish before Christmas. right? Malabrigo Sock, which, in my opinion, is lace weight. It is. 52 Weeks, 52 Hats. Monday, December 5, 2011. We went to the sea once again. I feel so lucky that it's only a short drive- or walk! I'm also lucky to have a husband who takes fantastic pictures. Cashmere. I can't describe how impossibly soft this yarn is- I have felt cashmere before, but this is. beyond. And it costs less per ounce than white truffles or beluga caviar, with the added bonus that you don't have. To eat it. Though you may want to- I won't judge. From the Purl Bee. 52 Weeks, 52 Hats. Friday, April 8, 2011. I finally finished my fourth Quince hat yesterday. It's been a WIP since February 28th, and to call it a huge pain in the ass is only a slight overstatement. Luckily, the final product justifies the effort:. Sadly, it's still cold enough outside to require a hat. I've actually made this hat twice- the first time it was unreasonably large. I know at least one person who wants this hat- me! Quince and Co. Chickadee- oh, how I love this yarn! April 8, 2011 at 9:32 PM.

A seafaring hat must be photographed at the sea. These were taken at Reid State Park- one of my favoritest places. Photos courtesy, as usual, my enormously talented husband. This has me very excited. and nervous. I'm pretty comfortable designing hats, but pattern writing is a whole 'nother ballgame. Anyway, it's about time I shared the prototype in all its glory. without further ado, I give you hat 11*:. The perfect thing for a dreary March day in Maine. Was a success, but it only whet my appetite for MORE STRIPES!

About My CF – From A to Pink | A Blog by Katharine Scrivener

From A to Pink A Blog by Katharine Scrivener. The life of a 30-something writer, cystic fibrosis patient advocate, with a penchant for hoarding books. Each CF patient’s story is a little different; here’s my version. I was diagnosed late, at 16. After being sick with a cough and numerous bouts of pneumonia for almost three years, my doctors were ready to throw up their hands. Asthma? Not that, either. It was then that I was taken to Johns Hopkins, as a sort of last resort, for a sweat test. The hardest p...

anabegins: Its...personal
http://ana-begins.blogspot.com/2015/05/itspersonal.html
To change her mind. Monday, May 18, 2015. In my quest to become less stupid about money, I familiarized myself with a whole new corner of the internet- -personal finance blogs. I was particularly drawn to the super-frugal, early retire in your 30s type of blogs. Not that I want to retire early (ha! I didn't even start a real job until my 30s, no interest compounding through my 20s for me) but the idea of financial independence and the freedom that it brings is enticing. Retire 2 years earlier? It was rea...
