The Ties That Bind: November 2012
http://melissastowers.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
The Ties That Bind. Saturday, November 10, 2012. So this is how a heart breaks? On the way home from Dollywood, we stopped for ice cream at the McDonald's drive thru to fulfill a little boy's dream. We ordered him the chocolate sundae. As he was eating, he asked, "Mommy, why did you get Kai this? If so, that's where I am tonight. Square in the middle of that. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Ties That Bind: January 2010
http://melissastowers.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
The Ties That Bind. Wednesday, January 6, 2010. Christmas held a lot of family time and a trip to Tallahassee to hang out with Brent and Laura and the boys. There aren't too many pictures of Christmas because I forgot the camera, but here are the ones we managed to get before I FAILED.haha. Before you judge someone, walk a mile in his shoes. Then, you will be a mile away, and you will have his shoes. I have to say, with a smile like this, I am of the opinion that he won't be single for long.

The Ties That Bind: June 2010
http://melissastowers.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
The Ties That Bind. Sunday, June 6, 2010. A request from the other me. What else can I add to a topic seemingly experienced by a wide world? Nothing. There is nothing I can say that has not already been said. There is certainly nothing I can do to make that hurt less, no suggestion I can venture that is new. But, perhaps the one thing I can do is share with you all in order to spread the ultimate message. So, here goes. Tuesday, June 1, 2010. Who I am today. Kai and Daddy during a rare down day.

The Ties That Bind: February 2012
http://melissastowers.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
The Ties That Bind. Thursday, February 2, 2012. On a lighter note. Because of yesterday's super depressing post, I figure I have to follow up with a happiness and light update. To get things rolling. Brent and Laura came in at Thanksgiving, and we all took the boys to the aquarium. They had a blast. Clint's aunt made Kai this hat on the off chance we would have a cold day this winter. Guess we will just have to put it in the curio cabinet as an ode to what might have been. Wednesday, February 1, 2012.

Friday, November 27, 2009. This blog update is dedicated to Mamaw Shirley. She's been asking for some new pictures. Here are some pictures from our Thanksgiving at Nana's house. The Ties That Bind: Quitters and birthdays
http://melissastowers.blogspot.com/2011/10/quitters-and-birthdays.html
The Ties That Bind. Saturday, October 15, 2011. This post is a hodgepodge of the last few months. He loved the water and the sand. The water is actually blue, but Instagram makes it look dirty brown like Tennessee. Mom and Dad went with us. First time on the big boy swing. He did great. On the shores of Lake Michigan. I'm one lucky girl. His star power shines so brightly that he has to rock shades at night. Hater blockers, you know? How did he get so frustrating.haha? October 16, 2011 at 8:42 PM.

The Ties That Bind: October 2010
http://melissastowers.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
The Ties That Bind. Sunday, October 24, 2010. So, a lot has happened in the last three months. We finished the house, moved in, and hosted Kai's first birthday. In the interim, he had his first hair cut, was liberated from baby food, and began wearing shoes. For him, it's been a good three months (except for the shoes.). Normal kids dive right into the cake. Not my child. He did not want to get his hands dirty. For everyone else, this was a disappointment. For me, I consider it a victory. The rest of Fall.
