A Blog of Family, Friends and Fighting CF. Wednesday, August 22, 2012. Growing, Going, Gone. My baby started preschool this week! She is officially a student in the 3 year old class at Little Friends (the preschool in which I attended too). The first day was this past Monday and although she was a little unsure, she did great. She told me she only cried a little bit. On Tuesday it was bad! She has also been taking dance lessons from Andalusia Dance and Tumble. She loves to dance (and sing)!

This past weekend was Labor Day and the start of football season, a time in which I become completely disconnected from my husband (hunter's wives should understand). Great Strides is the CF Foundation’s biggest fundraiser and takes place all over the country. The mission of the CF Foundation is to assure the development of the means to cure and control cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of life for those with the disease. A Blog of Family, Friends and Fighting CF. Tuesday, December 28, 2010. I have decided to ban the term, "Slow as Christmas". It's silly! Although time does fly (when you're having fun), we had an AWESOME Christmas! She stood in amazement and just looked at everything. I had to explain to her that this would not happen often.just once a year. We had a blast! Jumping back to the weekend before. We did Christmas in Elba and Enterprise. John has a really big family and it's hard to get us all together.

This time of year is always exciting for me. I love fall! Football, cooler weather, leaves changing color (not to big on the falling part-mess! Fires, sweatshirts, chili, and the list goes on! The best part about Homecoming is the parade, short as it may be, OP loves it! This year Row joined us. I believe they had a great time! From the Ground Up.

To add to the festivities, I made everyone a PVC marshmallow shooter. These little launchers can pack a punch with a mini marshmallow. John was a little "ganged" up on.
