Na's Narrative: May 2011

Wednesday, May 11, 2011. POEM - RHYMING DREAM. My dusk is wrapped around your nights. My life entwined in your lonely hour. Another desolate nightfall creeps in. And your memories watch from afar. When did they untangle themselves. From the once glistening thread. Untended they flew off laden. With the dew of our morning tread. Why do they beseech me to return. When they earned the right supreme. To saunter in and drape around me. The fabric of our rhyming dream. And when the thread of my verse.

Na's Narrative: CHIRANTAN 7 - RIVETED
http://sadhanapande.blogspot.com/2011/12/chirantan-7-riveted.html
Sunday, December 4, 2011. CHIRANTAN 7 - RIVETED. Each night as I sit in the hallway. Of long forgotten dreams. And watch the icicles of desire. Drip onto a lonely roadside. Giving life to those trees. Where your words hang. Words of promises, of dreams. Of shared lives and common themes. And I reach out to hold each one. Gently caress it with closed eyes. And a story springs alive. Of the time and the place. And the love on your face. When you said those words. And silence between them.

Wednesday, December 14, 2011. CHIRANTAN 9 - SILVER MISTS. It was that age when evening silver mists. Spread their alluring perfume. Drawing faces in the empty valleys. Always shrouded in mystery. A vision of dreams answered. Just almost within my reach. Yet as my outstretched arms. Lengthened across the lake. Faded away into a teasing book. Quickly shutting its flapping leaves. Not knowing which page. Held the key to my lock. Of the caged soul that fluttered. Waiting for its soiree. It is now the age.

Sunday, September 4, 2011. INMEIN KRISHNA HI SAMAYE. The magical love story of Radha and Krishna -the first love of Indian mythology-. Makes one dream to be blessed with a partner like this whom one can experience every swell and ebb of life with. Togetherness in the dawn and dusk of their lives and all the moments in between where they would be together, Krishna glorious in his sensuality, and Radha in her surrender-is the way we imagine eternal love as. As her spirit knew exactly how to look like him, ...

Thursday, February 24, 2011. Whoever is loved is beautiful! A line that I read today really touched me-. Whoever is loved is beautiful. Whoever is loved is beautiful, but the opposite is not true, that whoever is beautiful is loved. Real beauty is part of loved-ness, and that loved-ness is primary. If a being is loved, he or she has beauty, because a part cannot be separate from the whole. Monday, February 21, 2011. Sparsh's Tribute for Dadu Dadi's 50th Anniversary. This is an Anniversary tribute. That&#...

Monday, December 10, 2012. I sweep the soul floor daily. I sweep the soul floor daily. These lines were mentioned by a friend as in the course of an invigorating chat with her. Since that day , these lines have been resonating within me at all times, tugging at me , beckoning me , arguing that they need a place of their own. This post is dedicated to her, who has been the inspiration for this post. जाओ माफ़ किया, मैनें अपना दिल साफ़ किया. I sweep the soul floor daily. Broken off into kaleidoscopic patches.

Friday, January 20, 2012. When dream weaver leaves word spinner. Clanging wheels and hissing engines. Echo in the lonely station. Teeming with wet stories. Of meeting and leaving. And dream weaver sings. In the voice of falling teardrops. As the word spinner’s tale. Echoes adieu in empty hearts. Or is it adieu? For the thread of memories. Has knotted silver specks. Tied with the unseen voice. To a rapturous earth. As they fall silently. On a world exploded. With the voice of surrender.

Na's Narrative: March 2011

Thursday, March 10, 2011. Today my battered soul. Rubbed shoulders with other bodies. In a public carriage. Bruised body keeping pace. The jostling ,the pushing. Poking of the crevices in darkness. When feelings turned blue. Flowing out like rancid wine. You travel in comfort. Crimson with my blood. Your soul in hibernation. With lure of 'I'. Someday I'll live again. My humble dwelling alive. The splinters of glass. Embedded in my heart. Scatter light in a rainbow. My child's a woman now. If our strictly...
