How long does it take to walk the trail? The Trail is 5.3 km long. If you walk briskly without stopping, the trail (coastal route) takes. Just over an hour. Many people find it takes them two or more hours, because they stop to rest. Or take in the views. Is it suitable for children? Children who are good hikers can certainly handle this trail, but they should be supervised at all times. All walkers should be aware that the trail passes along cliff tops and edges. What are the challenges? Where do I park?

The Skerwink Trail is walkable mainly from spring to fall during daylight hours. Please note that the trail may be slippery when it’s wet. It is not intended to be hiked in icy. Or snowy conditions, when it can be dangerous. Signs and signposts are placed along the trail to provide clear direction. The Skerwink Trail is enhanced with boardwalks in muddy areas, stairs in steep sections,. And a few benches (see map) (LINK) for resting and taking in the views. There is a viewing.
