Thursday, June 16, 2011. James did a bunch of research and found a clinical trial that seems promising. It is being done both at the center in SF and at UCI by us. The SF one started when James had a court trial so he decided to wait for the one down here to begin. After initially thinking it was going to begin in March, it didn't start until earlier this month! June 17, 2011 at 4:26 PM. I read recently about a new trial on ALS and wondered if James could do that. Glad to hear this! Don't Call Me Mum.

Saturday, July 2, 2011. I promise I will post pictures soon. They are still on my camera. We spent Memorial weekend at Atlantis in the Bahamas. I have to admit that I was a bit weary. I am not big on giant resorts with hundreds of people. I like to feel special and romantic. We took the kids and Grandma and Grandpa along with us. It truly was an amazing experience. Friday, September 17, 2010. I can't believe it. Within a day of signing up for the walk, I had already surpassed my personal goal. I have raised it 3 times since! We have met our team goal as well, so I raised that goal too. Thank you to everyone who has so generously supported us. Big James was hoping to get in a clinical trial in SF, but had to do it next week. Hopefully he will get in the one here around January. Thank you again for all of your support and love. Monday, August 30, 2010. James starts first grade on Thursday! I can't believe my sweet baby James is in first grade already. He went last Wednesday for a reading evaluation and did very well. He met both teachers and seemed to like the school. He is a little nervous, but I know he will quickly make friends. I will post pictures and an update after he starts. Sunday, May 8, 2011. Watching the royal wedding in London was a truly special experience. It was such a unifying event and I'm so lucky I got to be here to see it in person. Well, it's not like I was at the church or anything (damn invite lost in the mail), but I still felt like a part of the whole celebration. As promised, here are a few pics. The big screen in the park. The babies loved playing outside all day. Such a cool kid! Lee dancing with Farrah. Water bottles are fascinating.
