I think that if folks knew that profits from their purchase would go towards helping small time entrepreneurs grow their businesses and help to strengthen foreign economies they wouldn’t mind spending a little more for hand crafted goods, unless you think Sam Walton could use some more money. Let the new year come! December 31, 2007, 6:04 am. I do apologize for the lack of posts lately. It has been really easy for me to neglect my promise to make, at minimum, weekly posts. The end of the school year, finals, and vacations flew by without any attention to all of you. So on to other things. Have any of you heard of the Shingo prize? Why do I bring it up? If you have any thoughts on what I can focus on that would be great. I hope you all had a great holiday and a happy new year.

Tuesday, November 15, 2011. BTW, We Relocated. Yep, it's true. We are no longer in Alaska. Or Idaho for that matter. We are in New York. Together. And life is AMAZING! Rob is attending the University at Buffalo working on his Masters Degree and I'm working 40 hours a week as a florist. We have each mowed the lawn once, and together we pulled many weeds and four stumps out of the front yard before I planted 300 bulbs in their place. We've gone on a few walks and a few bike rides. Saturday, May 21, 2011. Rob rode it kinda crazy . . . Well, we both did. There was a good portion of the afternoon where Rob sat on his seat backwards and I drove him around town. Friday, June 03, 2011. Today Rob is going to start shaving away his beard. Having never grown it out before, he didn't realize that his curly whiskers would continually poke and itch him, so the beard must go. He's chopping it in stages, so this afternoon he'll have a goatee instead of a beard. I think he's handsome with facial hair, so I'm hoping the goatee is more comfortable for him. :).
