Smooth Blue: March 2006
http://smooth-blue.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 27, 2006. Wow, what a weekend that was. Talking, eating, drinking, clubbing and a helicopter ride! We didn’t go out on Friday night. Sent out for a Chinese and then spent all night talking. It was late when we got up Saturday morning (didn’t go to bed till 6) and by the time we’d had breakfast it was after 4 but Mark still kept his promise. After the helicopter ride, we went to eat. Indian place called the Usha. After that, clubbing. You know when the music gets inside you? Ann comes to call.

The sky was full of soft pinks and purples and I felt so content but, as the sun was sliding down behind the sea, the walls around me seemed to close in and I longed for fresh air. Toni, he said, Toni, it’s me. He held out his hand and I took one step forward. Only one step. And then I waited in the soft salt air. Jez, I’m sorry, I’m so sorry. Posted by Smooth Blue at 11:06 PM. I went for ...

Smooth Blue: April 2006

Friday, April 28, 2006. What Have I Done? I can’t believe what I’ve done! The constant phone calls about my debt finally got to me and, before I knew what I was doing, I was at Manchester Airport with my shiny new red and gold credit card. I booked on the first available flight, I didn’t care where it was going. I’ve done a runner. Left my little flat in Manchester to start a new life in who knows where. What can I say? Narrow boats don’t travel over the sea. Still, if you ever wanted to come and see me,...

Friday, June 09, 2006. It’s a difficult area to cover because of its dense and often wildly exaggerated pros and cons and a successful mapping is still ‘The mighty challenge waiting to be fondled.’. Harvey Picar, a Gnostic and accidental exile ( who fell through a hole between the high and low just as an uncertain dial-u...
